Small fixes, done right: re-bedded tile, re-pointed grout, and an honest verdict on the rest.
Two very different kitchens. In Kensington's older homes you get modest galley kitchens with a range squeezed between cabinets and a doorway — short backslash runs but awkward corners and a window sill that eats the tile line. In the post-war ranches the kitchen is open to a dining nook, so the backsplash has to look right from the table, not just from the stove. Age shows first in the grout and at the edges. Our Berlin repair visits start with diagnosis — tap test, moisture check at the sink and stove, grout hardness — and end with either a fix or a straight explanation of why a fix would not hold.
Repair minimums are modest — call and describe the damage and we will tell you whether a visit is worth it.
Free measure, fixed price, most jobs done in 1–2 days.

Masked counters, hauled debris, wiped rooms.
We inspect the wall together. Nothing rushed.
The Berlin picture: Berlin has almost no dedicated backsplash specialist — the local competition is general handyman and remodel outfits plus the big-box install desks. The nearest tile-shop retail presence sits on the New Britain line and prices as retail. Berlin's powder-blue and rose 1950s kitchens are still everywhere, which makes 'keep the cabinets, change the wall' the single most requested upgrade we get here.
Subway, mosaic, handmade-look, stone or slab — compared honestly, including upkeep.

Tile goes onto walls that pass the straightedge test. If prep is needed, it is quoted, not improvised.
